Tinnitus Study Device Shows Promise

In 2016 Dr. Susan Shore and The Coulter Foundation at the University of Michigan needed a device for clinical trials of their novel tinnitus treatment system. They came to in2being with a request for a device that could deliver the required electrical and auditory stimuli and be used by trial subjects at home. We were able to turn 20 devices around in six months for use in the trials and a recent journal article in Science Translational Medicine shows promising results for Dr. Shore's research.

More information about Dr. Shore, her research, and ongoing trials can be found in this article. The Science Translational Medicine research article provides more information on Dr. Shore's tinnitus research and the results of the clinical trial.
